You may not agree with me but Noah seems to be an example of this (Gen. 9:21-25). You may read this piece to understand what I mean https://medium.com/unscrolling-the-scriptures/cursed-be-canaan-noahs-indiscretion-ac0eeeebac08?sk=e4051e3633beaa6a0850cc9e380f4f6e

But it is remarkable that the shepherd David although he was already anointed by the prophet Samuel at the time as the new King of Israel (1 Samuel 16:11-14) and twice, God delivered Saul to him still treated Saul with much reverence as he declared to his men, “The Lord forbid that I should do this thing to my lord, the Lord’s anointed, to stretch out my hand against him. For he is anointed of the Lord.” (1 Samuel 24:6)

This is the principle that Church leaders who cling to their position apply to threaten those who expose their follies. And this is what they preach to their congregation to protect their position. Perhaps they knew that God is not on their side and are so insecure. Or perhaps they truly believe that they are God's anointed.

Still, James reminds us:

6 But He gives more grace. For this reason it says: “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” 7 Therefore submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. (James 4:6-8)
