Sin is disobedience to God's command. Sins are fruits of Sin. Sin comes from unbelief, that is, lack of faith or in your word, lack of trust. Sin originates from not fearing God. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom (Psa. 111:10; Pro. 9:10). Without the fear of God, man will not walk in the ways of God, and neither will love nor serve God.
"And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all His ways, and to love Him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, To keep the commandments of the LORD, and His statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?" (Deut. 10:12-3)
Sin is doing what God has forbidden man to do (the sin of commission) or not doing what God has commanded man to do (the sin of omission). Because of disobedience, sin came into the world.
For as by one man’s (Adam) disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of One (Jesus Christ) shall many be made righteous. (Rom. 5:19)
God sent forth His Son and gave Him the name Jesus (Yah-oshua, meaning "Yah will save" in Hebrew-Aramaic) for He shall save His people (those who believe) from their sins (Matt. 1:21).
May the love of God, and the grace of Christ, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you brother. Amen.
