The same way for the Church. Once the Lord Jesus said, "I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." (Matthew 16:18). There was no problem with that! But then men add "Roman Catholic" church or "Protestant" or "Evangelical" or "Baptist" or even "Backyard Church" and counting, the problem comes and even multiplies and it's not just image problem. Best to return to the church Christ wants to build according to His word and not turn to the right nor to the left as per men's interpretation. May God be gracious unto us all.
